Sandra Bullock and her husband were unhurt when their vehicle was hit head-on by an alleged drunken driver in Massachusetts, police said. Bullock, 43, and her husband, Jesse James, were in a rented sport utility vehicle being driven by Mark Hussey, 55, of Londonderry that collided with a car driven by Lucille P. Gatchell, 64, of Gloucester.
Hussey reportedly told police he was traveling 15-20 mph on the coastal community's East Main Street about 9:50 p.m. Friday when Gatchell's vehicle veered into his lane. No injuries were reported but both cars were towed. Gatchell was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and failure to stay in marked lanes after her blood-alcohol level registered .20, more than twice the legal limit, police said. "Mrs. Bullock was very personable and was concerned for (Gatchell's) well-being," said police Officer Kevin Mackey, who responded to the accident. Bullock has been in the area to film "The Proposal," a romantic comedy. Source: NewsOXY.com Sandra Bullock in car accident
