Jessica Gibson is suing Rob Lowe for sexual assault and battery, sexual harassment, retaliation, unpaid off-the-clock work, overtime wages and unpaid meal periods. She’s asking for damages in excess of $50,000.

In a 18 page lawsuit filed in the Santa Barbara County Superior Court in California on Monday, Jessica Gibson alleges that Rob Lowe exposed himself and touched her inappropriately. The former nanny, 24, states that while employed between September 2005 and January 2008, Rob Lowe placed his hand inside her pants and fondled her without consent. Jessica also alleges that Sheryl Lowe, Rob Lowe's wife, walked around naked, completely exposing herself, and made endless sexually vulgar comments about male genitalia while talking far too openly about her sex life. Rob Lowe, 44, accused the nanny of extortion. The actor claimed that she threatened to go to the press with accusations of harassment if he and his wife Sheryl Lowe didn't pay her $1.5 million.
Gibson is suing the Lowes for sexual assault and battery, sexual harassment, retaliation, unpaid off-the-clock work, overtime wages and unpaid meal periods. She’s asking for damages in excess of $50,000. Lowe went public with the claims and said it was an attempt to damage and humiliate the family. Gibson appeared on NBC's "Today" show with her lawyer, Gloria Allred, but didn't say much about the lawsuit. Allred, speaking on her behalf, denies everything in Lowe's lawsuit and said that the actor and his wife tried to use confidentiality agreements that employees sign as a purpose not to pay Gibson.
